Bayern Munich Could Sell Michael Olise to Real Madrid if 200 Million Euro Offer Arrives

Bayern’s Firm Public Stance

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has publicly declared that Michael Olise is not for sale, but reports from England suggest the Bundesliga giants could be tempted by a bid approaching 200 million euros. The 23-year-old French international has become one of the most sought-after players in world football after two outstanding seasons in Bavaria.

“Michael Olise is a Bayern player with a long-term contract. We are not a selling club. If Florentino Perez wants to send us an offer, which hasn’t happened so far, he can save himself the trouble,” Hainer told Bild this week, projecting an image of total resolve.

The 200 Million Euro Threshold

Behind the scenes, however, the picture may be more nuanced. Sky Sports reports that Bayern could indeed entertain offers in the region of 200 million euros — a figure that would shatter transfer records. Olise’s contract, signed when he arrived in the summer of 2024, runs until June 2029 and contains no release clause, giving Bayern a strong negotiating position.

The Frenchman’s numbers speak for themselves: 22 goals and 31 assists in all competitions during the 2025-26 campaign, following a stunning debut season that established him as one of Europe’s premier attacking talents. The Telegraph has even reported that Jose Mourinho, expected to take over at Real Madrid, has specifically requested Olise’s signing.

A Star on the World Stage

Olise’s stock has only risen since his hat-trick for France against Northern Ireland in a 3-1 friendly victory. He will now lead France’s attack at the 2026 World Cup in what promises to be a defining tournament for the former Crystal Palace academy graduate. If he shines on the global stage, that 200 million euro valuation may start to look reasonable.
